Director Hixson visited VHS to recognize a TEAM that has worked so hard over the past year for our students. Mr. Josh Castle, VHS Assistant Principal stated, “Our geometry teachers at VHS have grown a tremendous amount as a group and have shown commitment to collaboration and the PLC process as a whole. They have gone from meeting during collaboration times, because that was the expectation, to now working together constantly. They have been seen in the hallways together working and discussing next steps and strategies. Their work and commitment has led to a well-structured and positive environment within the geometry department and I am excited to see where they take our student success.” Mr. Taylor attributes success to the ladies he works with and said he couldn’t do his job without them. This is what true collaboration looks like! Thank you VHS Geometry Team!
