While we know it is important to open school sites, especially when they have largely been unharmed by recent storms, we do not want to rush the decision. After a late Sunday afternoon update from Holston Electric and EMS, Hawkins County Schools will not be in session tomorrow, September 30. However, in order to provide needed resources and services to our communities, we will offer open school sites for charging stations and other resources. If you are in need and can safely access one of our school sites during school hours, please do so. Thank you for your patience as we take all information into consideration.

If you or your student has a need of any kind (food, water, shower, laundry) please send me a message or text to 423-327-0179 or call 272-7629 ext. 2056! We will work to help meet these needs within our community.
