“Hawkins County Schools has been part of a partnership with East Tennessee State University for several years. As part of an over $5 ml 3-year US ED grant with ETSU, HCS and others are researching ways to enrich student learning in STEM, Literacy, Computational thinking, Project-based learning and student well-being. HCS Staff members, Dr. Reba Bailey and Lori Allen attended a recent meeting of Advisory Board members, project staff members (Debbi Pressnell was unable to attend) and other guests. Members came together for an update of progress and findings.“
