Phillip Jennings, CTE Teacher at Cherokee High School was a recent recipient of a $1,500 Fortinet Grant. This grant was provided by the Educational Foundation AFCEA International which provides incentives, opportunities and assistance to students and teachers engaged in the science technology, engineering, and math (STEM) disciplines. Mr. Jennings plans to purchase handheld programmable consoles. These consoles will be used as part of the student coding practicum and aid the teacher in introducing this career path.
