Our 7/8 Panther Band traveled to the Trills & Thrills Concert Festival in Maryville, TN this morning and WOW did they deliver! They earned a Superior Rating, the highest honor possible for a performing group! We are beyond proud of these talented students and the hard work they’ve put in all year. And after their outstanding performance, they spent the rest of the day celebrating at Dollywood! Work hard, play hard—that’s the Panther way!

FYI:

Mrs. McLain and Ms. Duke’s class put on their scientist hats this morning as they began gathering real scientific data! Students measured their shadows early in the day and will compare those measurements again this afternoon.

Mrs. Tupper and Mr. Harwood’s class took their learning outside today to measure shadows! Students explored how the position of the sun changes shadow length, making real-world connections to science and math.

The Lady Panthers are on a roll!

After a dominant 13–0 victory over Greenville at home last night, the team has officially advanced to the second round of the conference tournament! From strong bats to lockdown defense, the Lady Panthers showed up and showed out in front of their home crowd.

Next stop: Round 2. Let’s keep the momentum going! Go Panthers!

State Testing Reminder Dear Parents & Students, State testing will begin Monday morning, and we want everyone set up for success! 🕖 School starts at 7:45 AM — please make sure students arrive on time. 🚪 Doors open at 7:15 AM, and breakfast is served until 7:40 AM. ⛔ Once testing begins, students will not be able to enter late or leave during testing. We encourage all students to get a good night’s sleep and eat breakfast so they’re ready to do their best. Students — don’t stress! Just take your time and give it your best effort.
