Many students are apathetic towards education. I can't make someone care. As a teacher, what are the most important qualities that a student should possess to achieve success? Self-Discipline, Self-Motivation, and Self-Esteem. Your advice to the upcoming freshman: Don't expect someone to help you; help yourself first. What class or classes do you teach and what will the class be studying and learning? Geometry-the basic of spatial reasoning and proving techniques. Statistics-The basics of data collection and analysis. How much and what kinds of homework can your students expect? There will be homework every night: Approximately 10-30 problems covering the day's topic will be assigned. What special projects will be completed throughout the semester: Each class will complete a research paper. What is the best way for student to communicate with you? See me before or after school.
