Why did you choose to become a teacher? I wanted to be a part of the education process in my community.

What is the most challenging part about teaching? Reaching all students successfully.

As a teacher, what are the most important qualities that a student should possess to achieve success? Show up, Have passion, and put forth the effort.

Your advice to the upcoming freshman: If you are not sure, ask questions!

What class or classes do you teach and what will the class be studying and learning? Algebra 1. Chapters 1-12 in accordance with state standards.

How much and what kinds of homework can your students expect?
I give homework almost every day, but I try to give them enough class time to finish and ask questions so they don't have to take it home.

Special Projects that will be completed throughout the semester: No special projects at this time!

What is the best way for your students to communicate with you? Through email or by stopping by my classroom (906).

Do you offer tutoring? If yes, when and where: I offer assistance to those students who wish to contact me and set up an appointment. Usually between 3-4 p.m. during the week. (except during basketball season.)
