Why did you choose to become a teacher? I wanted to be a teacher because I wanted to make a difference. I also enjoy working with young people and want to help them succeed.

What is the most challenging part about teaching? The most challenging part of teaching is finding ways to motivate young people.

As a teacher, what are the most important qualities that a student should possess to achieve success? Students need a desire to learn. They also need determination.

Your advice to the upcoming freshman: Be yourself! Don't try to be someone you're not, just to fit in.

What class or classes do you teach and what will the class be studying and learning? I teach Transition English, Inclusion English, and Inclusion Algebra. We will be learning skills needed to pass the Gateway Exams.

How much and what kinds of homework can your students expect? I rarely assign homework. The majority of assignments are completed in class.

What is the best way for your students to communicate with you? Students can stop by my classroom during the day.

Do you offer tutoring? If yes, when and where: I do not offer scheduled tutoring. However, I am very willing to assist those needing extra help.
