S. in Education + Master's in Education School activity/Organization/Sponsor: None Why did you choose to become a teacher? The example set by my Elementary School teachers. What is the most challenging part about teaching? Trying to motivate students that do not understand the importance of an education. As a teacher, what are the most important qualities that a student should possess to achieve success? 1.) A willingness to try & 2.) A desire to be successful. Your advice to the upcoming freshman: Try to do your best and realize that you must have an education to compete for the good jobs. What class or classes do you teach and what will the class be studying and learning? Foundations I & II, Basic Mathematics and Pre-Algebra. How much and what kinds of homework can your students expect? Very little homework, if you work hard in class. Special projects that will be completed throughout semester: None What is the best way for your students to communicate with you? Come and talk to me, & ask for help. Do you offer tutoring?
