I love history and I realized that literature is the history of the the mind as people live their lives. Words are power and live forever. What is the most challenging part about teaching? Keeping those who want to learn to be protected from those who want to "play". As a teacher, what are the most important qualities that a student should possess to achieve success? Desire to Succeed, cooperation, keeping an open mind, organization. Your advice to the upcoming freshman: Pay attention to details. Success starts now. Don't put off anything until the last minute. Do a little everyday. What class or classes do you teach and what will the class be studying and learning?English 11- American Literature, the history of the mind as people lives their lives in American History. How much and what kinds of homework can your students expect? Journals, Vocabulary, and unfinished class work. Special projects that will be completed throughout semester: Scrapbook made up of selected journals assignment . What is the best way for your students to communicate with you?
