Attendance is an important part of a student's education.  Research

has shown that good attendance is connected to higher achievement. 

In an effort to improve attendance, we are continuing to use our attendance game.

One thing that will be added this year is that students with perfect and excellent attendance will

be recognized each 9 weeks.  Prizes will be given in a drawing.  Also, all students with perfect attendance and excellent

attendance will get their name thrown into a drawing for a bicycle at the end of the year.  Every time a student makes

perfect or excellent attendance, they will get their name put into the drawing.  Some students will have their names entered

multiple times for having great attendance.
