Mrs. Renner's Third Grade    

Hello! My name is Mrs. Sarah Renner. I am very excited to be your child's teacher this year! I love teaching at Mooresburg Elementary School. This is my 10th year teaching at Mooresburg. I spent my first year teaching in 3rd grade, the past 8 years teaching 1st grade, and this year I got to move back to 3rd grade. I am very excited about this new challenge!

I have lived in East Tennessee since 1991. I am a 1995 graduate of Cherokee High School and a 2001 graduate of Tusculum College where I obtained a B.A. in Elementary Education K-8.

I currently reside in Kingsport, TN with my husband Jon; who is a high school math assistant and wrestling coach at Science Hill High School in Johnson City.

We do not have any children together, but we do have a very spoiled dog-son named Murphy. If you hear your child talk about "Murphy" you will know that he is my dog.

I love sports...especially Major League Baseball. I have been a Boston Red Sox fan since I was 5 years old and I am married to a huge Atlanta Braves fan. We love to go to different Major League Baseball Parks each summer.

I also love to read. My favorite books include the Harry Potter series, Because of Winn-Dixie, Bridge to Terabithia, The Mortal Instruments Series by Cassandra Clare, and the Twilight Series.

I am a movie junkie. You name it, I've probably seen it!
