JOURNAL PROMPTS

Students will be given time at the beginning of class to complete their journal prompts. If they do not finish, they need to complete them at home. Students are required to bring their journals to class everyday.
Daily Journal Entry Requirements:
* Each entry should contain at least 9 complete sentences.
* Date each entry.
* Students should write down the Quote of the Day, and the Student of the Day.
* Students should also stay on topic.
* Use one vocabulary word in the prompt from the reading vocabulary list. They must underline the word they are using.
There will be journal checks each six weeks. These checks will count as a test grade. Students will be held accountable for the requirements stated above.
We may not have journal prompts each day. The prompts and dates are listed below:
