Attention Parents!!!!  I always give my students time in class to complete most of their assignments.  If your child has good grades for me and is not bringing anything home then they are probably using their time wisely!  If your child has a lot of homework from my class more than once a week please contact me to discuss this matter because they probably are not using their class time as they should.  I also like for my students to bring a good book to read if they finish early.  I have a carpeted area in the back of my room for them to go and relax when they complete their math assignment.  I hope this helps and if you EVER have any questions please contact me.  My planning period is from 9:15-10:30 each day.

Tuesday - 3/25 - Grade WS 11-1 and WS 11-2; Grade Pgs 770, 773 and 777; Go over Lesson 11-1 from PA book - Stem and Leaf Plots - Do Lesson 11.1 from the WB (THIS IS HW)

Tuesday - 3/25 - Check WS 11-2 then Go over Pythagorean Theorem (11-3) and do Pgs 481-482 #4-21all and #24-34 all (THIS IS HW)

Wednesday - 3/26 - Check HW; Go over 11-4 Area of Parallelograms and 11-5 Area of Triangles and Trapezoids; Do WS 11-4 and 11-5

Thursday - 3/27 - Check WS 11-4 and 11-5; Go over 11-6 Area of Circles; Do WS 11-6; Chpt. 11 Review Pgs. 504-507 #1-6 ALL and #8-38 EVEN ONLY

We have chosen The Wizard of Oz as the 7th Grade theme this year and we will have different activities relating to this all throughout the year!!!  

The 2008 Math-A-Thon is tentatively scheduled for the end of February.  I will have all the information out to the students by the end of next week if it has arrived from St. Jude.  Feel free to contact me if you have any questions about this activity.
