Homework

Dear Parents:

Please check your child’s assignment book daily. Homework is designed to give students practice with the material that is covered at school, to prepare them for upcoming tests and daily graded work, and to develop study skills and responsibility.  Homework varies depending on the amount of work completed in class.  It is your child’s responsibility to copy the homework assignments from the board each day.  Below you will find some general information about each subject.

Science or Social Studies

Students will need to study for tests that are at the end of each chapter.  Your child will have a study guide, worksheets, and other materials (flip books, graphic organizers, etc.) to help him or her study.  We usually have a test every week to ten days in each subject.  Look for information in the assignment book.
