Third Grade Supply List
2010/2011

· 3 pocket folders with brads for class work
· 1 plastic, pocketed folder for homework
· 2 writing journals
· 1 glue stick
· 1 scissors
· 1 box crayons
The most important items to have for the 3rd grade are paper and pencil. This is a big change from second grade. The majority of the assignments we complete in 3rd grade are completed on notebook paper with pencil.
These items are to be supplied throughout the year. Mechanical pencils are acceptable as long as they contain 0.7 sized lead or larger. Smaller lead breaks too easily and cuts through paper too easily. Number 2 wooden pencils are preferred as some students have trouble maintaining a mechanical pencil. Markers, colored pencils, or any other extras are optional.
