School Wide Positive Behavior Support Program

(SWPBS)

SWPBS is a nationally recognized researched-based system that is designed to enhance the capacity of schools to educate ALL children by developing a school wide and classroom discipline system. SWPBS teaches, defines, and reinforces appropriate student behavior to help create a positive school environment. Keplar Elementary faculty and staff instruct school expectations at the beginning of the year and throughout the year as needed.

Keplar Elementary School Expectations are:

Students earn “bees” throughout the school year in ALL classrooms and non-classroom settings, when expected behaviors are observed. These “bees” are redeemed every 2 weeks for a 30 minute “Bee Celebration”.
