Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation

Keplar Elementary students participated in the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation fundraiser.
Students collected donations and those who made contributions had their name written on a paper sneaker and posted in the school's gymnasium.

~Miss Tennessee visits Keplar Elementary~

Miss Tennessee spoke to Keplar students stressing the importance of good choices in life. She visited each classroom and gave each student a signed photograph.
 
 
     

Keplar Elementary is now a 'Distinguished School'
ROGERSVILLE - Keplar Elementary has joined an elite group as one of four schools statewide to earn the designation  2010 Title I Distinguished School.

Way to Go!!!

Congratulations to Shelby for winning the Scholastic "What I Read This Summer" sweepstakes.
Her teacher Mrs. Davidson sent in students summer reading logs. Shelby was one of ten lucky readers nationwide to win a two 25 book library, one for home, and one for the classroom, plus a free book pick for every student in her class!!

Wal-mart Landscapes at Keplar


 

Wal-mart did landscaping work at Keplar Elementary School Saturday, March 30, 2008. They brought mulch, trees, and worked on playground equipment and worked on flower beds.

Wal-mart Presents $2,000.00 to Keplar Elementary
 

 
 
Wal-mart presented Keplar Elementary School with a check for $2,000.00 on Friday, March 28, 2008.
The check will be used to beautify the playground and to purchase much needed playground equipment.
Wal-mart associates planted trees and led the school body in a Wal-mart cheer. The students then chanted "Wal-mart!" as a Thank You.
