Home Made Instruments Homemade instrument winners. 3rd grade shaker eggs, 4th grade boxed drum, 5th grade tamborine and 3rd grade a paper mache bass guitar.   Keplar students in grades 3 through 5 made homemade instruments for a grade in music class. Students had a month to think about an instrument they would like to create and then find the materials at home to put their idea together. Harps, guitars, tambourines, drums, castanets are a few of the instruments that students made. The instruments were detailed with string, frets, paint and beads. Congratulations on a job well done!
