Dear JRP Parent/Guardian,

Congratulations on making it through the first week of school!  We would like to thank you for your patience with our new bus/car loading and unloading procedures.  We feel that the new system will improve the safety of our students.  Another advantage is that it appears to have shortened the wait time in the afternoons.  We will be adding kindergarten into the mix on Monday, so please be patient as we adjust. 

School begins at 8:00 a.m. each morning.  We need our students here on time to start their day off right!  Breakfast is from 7:15 a.m. to 7:50 a.m.  If you arrive after 8:00 a.m., you must walk your child into the office and sign them in.  Students who are car riders will be dismissed at 2:50 p.m.  Car rider pick-up time ends at 3:25 p.m.  Any student that has not been picked up by this time will go to the gym area to wait with our bus students.  If you arrive later than this, please stop by the office to sign in.  You may then walk to the gym and pick up your child.  School begins at 8:00 a.m.  We need our students here on time to start their day off right.  If you do arrive later than 8:00 a.m., please be sure to walk your child into the office and sign them in.

JRP is working toward a major goal this year, and we need your help.  We are aiming to improve our school-wide attendance.  The faculty and staff have come up with some wonderful rewards for the students who achieve good attendance throughout the year.  But wait!  Not only are the students going to be rewarded, the PARENTS are also going to be rewarded!  We will be having a school-wide assembly next week to explain our attendance incentives this year.  Be looking for a note about this in your child's folder.
