Safety Program

 HES students attended a safety program presented by Brenda Joyner, EMT, from Hawkins County EMS, Ralph Stanton from Hawkins County Rescue Squad, and Melissa Helton,  Hawkins County 911 dispatcher.  This comprehensive safety program focused on swimming pool safety for the students and their siblings. Role-playing and a question-and- answer session concluded the presentation. Students also received a 911 educational  activities booklet and packet compliments of Hawkins County EMS ("Serving the Community 24/7/365").
