Mr. Bill Jenkins, 1st District's former Congressman visited with some of our fifth graders recently.  The students had been learning about the United States government.  Mr. Jenkins discussed how important it is for the students to be knowledgeable about their country and its history.  He explained how the United States government protects and allows them to have rights.  The students enjoyed the time that Mr. Jenkins spent with them.  Thanks for your service Congressman Jenkins!
