In Memoriam: Jo Anne Greene-Beatty

Hawkins Elementary students, Chloe, Jared and Sarah, are shown with a Lorraine Brewer print, Ebbing and Flowing Springs, which was placed in memory of Ms. Jo Anne Greene-Beatty in the Hawkins Elementary office.  This beautiful print, which depicts a local and historical landmark, serves as a gentle reminder of the memory of Jo Anne Greene-Beatty, founder of the Hawkins Elementary Bearcat Chorus and Hawkins Elementary music teacher for eleven years.

 HES Yearbook Dedication and HES Library Memorial Books

Hawkins Elementary Library Media Center wishes to extend a special Thank-You to Theresa Eidson and Cole for their generous donation made to the library in memory of Jo Anne Greene-Beatty.  An additional Thank-You is also extended for the anonymous donation to the library which was made in Jo Anne's memory.   After being calligraphically inscribed by B. Holcomb (thanks, Ms. Holcomb), books about Italy and various aspects of music were added to the Hawkins Elementary library collection.
