What are the qualifications to become a substitute teacher for Hawkins County Schools?

1.  You must be at least 21 years of age.
2.  You must have a high school diploma or GED certificate.
3. You must successfully complete the online SubSkills Training TM course.
4. You must have an acceptable background check.

Beginning August 22, 2011, new substitute applicants must complete an online training
course and receive a composite score of 85% before being approved for hire.
