It is indeed a pleasure to greet all Hawkins County Schools’ employees for the 2007-2008 school year.
Thank you so much for your part in
helping to provide a smooth beginning for the school year. I am pleased
with the great beginning. I realize that we had a few air
conditioning problems; but, as usual, we pitched in,
shared rooms, and survived the heat. The smooth beginning would not have been
possible without all of the
“behind the scenes” help and support. It truly takes a team to make a great beginning. I wish to thank our
maintenance, transportation, food service, health service, central office staff, teachers, administrators, custodians, and secretaries for your
hard work and dedication.

I wish to welcome our students to Hawkins County Schools. I hope that each student will have a very successful year. I would like to invite
all families to visit your child’s school at least once during the school year. Your support is so important to your child’s success in school.
