VHS Chorus Group
During the week of June 22nd - June 29th, students from the VHS Chorus were given the opportunity to sing the National Anthem at K-Mets games. The students were: Tatum Spears, Karley Dobbs, Courtney Rogers, Brittany Lindsey, Stephanie Vaughn and Mollie Carr.
The Women of the Volunteer Voices will be singing the National Anthem at the July 10th K-Mets game.
Great job ladies and thank you for representing Hawkins County Schools in such a great way!
June Art Show
Students from 3 of Hawkins County Elementary Schools will be displaying their art work at the Kingsport Town Center Mall ( formerly the Ft. Henry Mall ) during the month of June. The display area is the upper level entrance, By Walden Books and the Dollar Tree. The art work will be matted and framed. There will be close to a hundred pieces on display. The 3 schools participating in the show are Church Hill Elementary, McPheeters Bend Elementary and Hawkins Elementary. Please stop by and enjoy the show.
