Your child will have an advantage if he/she can do the following:
n tie his/her own shoes n button, snap, and zip his/her own clothing n know his/her FIRST and LAST NAME n know ADDRESS and PHONE NUMBER n know NAMES of PARENTS n identify basic colors: red, yellow, blue, green, orange, brown, purple, black, pink gray, white n count from 1 to 10 n say the alphabet without skipping letters (singing the alphabet does not count)
