This week in class, we will be discussing how the president runs for office and all that it takes to be a president. We will also show the class our political cartoons and explain them to each other. Schedule of Classes

 

Because of the new schedule central office has place on middle schools, Science and Social Studies class only receive 45 minutes of class time, So your child will be asked to bring home more homework to do to help us keep up with our ongoing standards.

 

8th grade Schedule

1st period- 8:00-8:45

2nd period- 8:50-9:35

3rd period- 9:40-10:25

4th period- 10:30-11:15

5th period- 11:20-12:05

6th period- 12:10- 12:55

Lunch- 12:55- 1:25

7th period- 1:25- 2;10

8th period- 2;15-3:00

 

 

Extra Credit Opportunities*

You can always bring in a Contemporary Issue for the class to discuss. Make sure it is at least a paragraph with some type of news article attached to it. This will give you 5 extra points on your test.
