Each six weeks a student’s average may be improved by adding in extra points determined by “Brownie Points”.
At the beginning of a six weeks grading period each student starts with “0” Brownie Points. Brownie Points will be earned or lost as follows:

+1 : each day a student attends a tutoring session
- 1 : having to use the bathroom during the class period (other than during
class break)
- 1 : having a cell phone out during the class period (not in use)
- 3 : using a cell phone during the class period (ringing, texting, talking)
- 1 : misuse of a music listening device (MP3, IPOD, Walkman, etc.)

- 1 : not on task
- 1 : sleeping in class
