My name is Tamera (Tammy) Tate. My
husband, Scott, and I have two daughters: Jennifer and Melissa. Jennifer is a
freshman English teacher at Jefferson City High School, and she lives in
Knoxville. Melissa completed an internship in the Spring, 2009 in New York,
and she is currently living there. Both of my daughters are very accomplished
and independent young ladies, and I must say that I am very proud of them. I received my BSED from ETSU in 1995, and
my Master’s Degree from Union College in 2008. I taught 8th grade Math at
Surgoinsville Middle School before coming to Keplar, and I am enjoying my 4th
grade class and the two classes I teach for 5th grade. The
students I have are very sweet and fun to be around. At home, I have three
miniature schnauzers named Roxy, Riley, and Darby. My students hear me talk
of them often. I enjoy reading, crocheting, and watching movies.
