Mr. Shoemaker

My name is Brian Shoemaker and this is my third full year teaching 4^th grade at Keplar Elementary School. Before coming to Keplar, I worked at Kennedy Elementary School in Kingsport with their Special Education program. I graduated from Dobyns-Bennett High School in 1995, and received my Teaching Degree from East Tennessee State University in 2001. I am 31 years old, and have lived in Kingsport, TN my whole life. I have been married for 2 years. My wife, Julie, teaches Kindergarten and is the director of Summer School and After School at Tennessee Avenue Christian Academy in Bristol, TN.  We have a dog and a goldfish. I love sports and outdoor activities. I enjoy playing tennis, volleyball, basketball, baseball/softball, croquet, pitching horseshoes, and many other activities. I am a huge fan of the Atlanta Braves and enjoy watching professional wrestling. I also enjoy playing board games and card games.

Mrs. Brandy

My name is Brandy Calton and this is my 2nd year at Keplar Elementary School. I graduated from Volunteer High School in 1993. I owned a daycare center in Rogersville for 6 years. I worked with children from ages 6 weeks to 12 years old. I am 31 years old, and have lived in Rogersville, TN my whole life. I have been married for 13 years. I have 2 children. I have a daughter, Brittini, who is 15, and a son, Jeremiah, who is 9. My husband, Randy, works at Persia Water Department, and he also pastors our church. I love swimming and going to the beach! I also like going to the movies with my family.
