who is 3 and sad because he has to stay at the babysitters. We have two
cats and 1 dog.
Mission For The Class

I teach math and reading whole group and then for 30 to 45
minutes we work in centers. During
centers I pull small groups to work on the skills that we are learning in
class. These centers relate to the
skills we are learning in class for example, math centers consist of 1.
Counting number of objects to match the number 2. Math game board where
they spin the wheel and match the shape to a shape on the board, and 3.
Measuring objects around the room or in the basket with cubes and writing
their answer on paper provided.
This allows the students to have extra time working on the skills we
have learned.
|
|
Remember that we use a lot of hands on materials in
the classroom; therefore if your child misses school they have missed a lot
of instruction for the day. Please
have your child at school. We miss
them when they are not here.

What do I need to work on with my child for the school
year? You and your child need to work on
reciting the alphabet and recognizing each letter and the sound it
makes. I would also like for you to
work on counting to 20 and recognizing the numbers 0 through 30. Children also need to work on recognizing
colors and the basic shapes (square, rectangle, circle, and triangle).
