CHS Student Wins At Tennessee Valley Fair

Recently Cherokee FFA members participated in the Tennessee Valley Fair in Knoxville on September 11th-20th. Members could exhibit items such as eggs, vegetables, honey, hay, corn, crafts, and art work among many other things. The students competed against 30 other schools in East Tennessee.

Caitlyn Allen is a junior at Cherokee High School and received four ribbons for her artwork at the Tennessee Valley Fair. Caitlyn entered two drawings and two pottery exhibits. Caitlyn completed the drawings and pottery in Mr. Robert Dickenson's art class at Cherokee High School. She took home a first and second place in the drawing category with her horse pictures and placed first with her deer pottery and third with her horse pottery.
