The public is invited to review Social Studies, World Languages, and CTE textbooks that are part of the 2018 textbook adoption. Samples will be onsite at the Charles Fuller Training Center on Monday, February 11 and Wednesday, February 20, 2019 from 10:00 – 4:00 p.m.

Exemplary Access District!

Congratulations to Hawkins County Schools for being one of six districts designated as exemplary ACCESS District. (All Children Challenged and Equipped for Success in School). HCS has been named for their intensive work and exceptional dedication to providing all students access to high quality instruction and intervention over the past two years through the State Personnel Development Grant (SPDG). This designation is based on training participation, dedication to the grant design, improvements in teaching methods, improvements in IEP quality, improvements in reading screener scores, and efforts to expand the ACCESS training system wide.

The Hawkins County Board of Education will meet on March 7, 2019 at 6:00 p.m. at

the Charles A. Fuller Board Room/Training Center.

The Transportation Committee of the Hawkins County Board of Education will meet on Friday, February 15, 2019 at 6 p.m. at the Charles A. Fuller Board Room/Training Center.
